  1. Monday:Jesus was about to be crucified but He wanted to have a Passover supper with His disciples. He told Peter and John to follow a man carrying a jar of water and to follow him where he will go to a house and then they will eat the Passover meal in the guest room of that house. Jesus told them that he will not eat that meal again until it finds fufillment in the kingdom of God. After the supper he took the cup filled with wine and told them "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you." The Lord's supper is a very important event to know. It means a lot to me because it is one of Jesus's amazing prophecies.

  2. Tuesday:The Lord talks about how the widow gave more than the wealthy people because she gave everything she had. The wealthy people gave only because they were plentiful. The Lord talked about how when the end of times was drawing closer He would take care of His people. My giving habits consist of assisting someone when they are in need, sharing what I have, and giving advice.

  3. Wednesday:Ten virgins went out to meet the bridegroom. Although, only five of them brought oil for their lamps and the other five did not. Because the bridegroom was late, the virgins fell asleep. Although when they awakened, they saw that their lamps were going out. The five virgins who had not brought oil asked the other five for some of theirs although they would not give them any and told them to go and buy some. Only while they were away the bridegroom came and the five virgins who went to buy oil were left outside. Three servants were entrusted with their master's money. The first servant was given five sacks of money, the second two, and the third one only one. The first two servants went and doubled their money and were put in charge of many things but the third servant went and buried his money and was thrown outside. I identify with the first two servants and the virgins.

  4. Thursday:Jesus knew that the time had come for Him to die. He asked God to give eternal life to all that were given to Him. Jesus was praying to God for his disciples. He prayed that they would be protected after Jesus died. I pray for my friends and family. I pray for those who are less fortunate, those who have things worse. I pray for those who have obstacles they need to overcome. I pray for those who are in pain. I pray for those who need to meet my Father.

  5. Friday:Jesus was talking to His disciples and telling them how He would leave and come back. He said that He would leave for a little while and they would see Him no more. Then He said that after a little while He they would see Him again. Jesus told them that they would find peace through Him. These verses bring me peace because they are from my God. His words soothe me and let me know everything is good when we are with Him.
