Week 7
Friday:Mordecai had learned of what happened so he tore his clothes and went into to the city. He was bitter and wept loudly for all to hear. He went to the kings gate but no one who was clothed in sack cloth and torn clothing was aloud beyond the gates. I have shown my faith by helping my friends when they are in need. Introducing and having faith to my Father and never doubting Him for a minute. Me doing that shows other people that God is always there and there is no reason to doubt it. I don't shove it in peoples faces though, like others. Most of the world today who are against Christ is because of His followers, not of Him.
Week 7
Thursday:The king placed Haman in a higher rank than most of the others. The king ordered him to bow down to him, but he refused He was asked of his rebellion, his answer being that he was a Jew. The order was again reinforced and yet he still refused to do so. The king became enraged once more. I am tempted to compromise my faith when I become raveled in this cocoon called the world. It has me in its grasp so hard that I choose it over reading the Bible, listening to the right music, etc.

Week 7
Wednesday:King Xerxes was seeking to find a new queen to replace Queen Vishti. Esther was immediately drawn to the kings men's attention, and thought highly of her. The king's specific details was for a beautiful
woman. His men went to Esther and crowned her, naming her Queen Esther. It's hard for me to think of specific events. Usually when I make a mistake, either I catch myself, or someone else does. It's usually the former, and when that happens I take note of it and it never happens again. I like it when I learn what to do and what not to do, it helps me in the future and that will always benefit me.

Week 7
Tuesday:King Xerxes is very straight forward to Queen Vashti. He ordered her to come before the king, wearing her royal crown, to display her beauty for everyone to see. She refused to do so, making the king enraged. Since she obey him, a royal decree was made for Queen Vashti, never again allowing her into the presence of the king and her position was passed on to another. Sadly, I actually do take important people in my life for granted most of the time. I have become so accustomed to them being there for me that I just think that they'll be there forever. But when something happens and they're not, the situation will fall into my hands and sometimes I won't have what it takes to put tasks into my own hands.

Week 7
Monday:All came to the Law of Moses. Ezra praised the Lord and then read aloud to the people who came to hear. They assembled at the Water gate, asking the scribe to bring out the Laws of Moses so everyone could know and love the laws. My expectations when I open the word of God is for God to open a page that will show me exactly what I need to do, what I need to change, or what I need to acknowledge, or what I need to improve. He will always do everything to help me and that is what I expect.

Week 6
Friday:Nehemiah heard that the people were complaining about having to give up all of their possesions. Being slaves and having to work all of their time and having a hard time just staying alive. Nehemiah went to go talk to the people and they said they would change. I help the poor sometimes by donating money. I know that that is not nearly enough of what I should do but sometimes that is all I can do at the moment. I would love to help out the less fortunate because I am more than capable of doing so. But the world gets the best of me. I can always try harder and help out those who actually need it.

Week 6
Thurs. Nehemiah 2:1-20 Nehemiah Returns to Jerusalem
What relationships in your life need to be rebuilt?
What relationships in your life need to be rebuilt?
Nehemiah was with the king and his wife, and he requested that he be sent to Jerusalem. The king and God heard his request and was accepted. He knew God was on his side. He told Jerusalem that the problem was that it lay in ruins. They all agreed and came to the conclusion that they would rebuild. When people watched them they called them insane, but Nehemiah told them that God was on their side. I'm not entirely sure I need to rebuild any relationships in my life. If anything I would need to repair a few. There are no real damaged relationships between I and someone else. I enjoy keeping in touch with people I meet.

Week 6
Wed. Ezra 3:7-13 Rebuilding the Temple
How do you feel when you’re working on a large project?
Cyrus, the Persian king, gave the people some drinks and the supplies they needed to rebuild the temple. Everyone started to work together to do this large task. Whilst laying the foundation for the structure, people took their place to praise the Lord. "His love is good.", they would say, not one false word in the phrase. When I work on a large project, I honestly get extremely frustrated. When I get into something, my perfectionist side overwhelms me and it seems as nothing is good enough. It takes me a while to cool down and when I do I reluctantly finish what I started. The main thing I need to fix in my life is my temper.

Week 6
Tues. 2 Kings 22:1- 23:3 Discovery of the Lost Book
What happens in your life when the Bible is a “lost” book?
At age 8, Josiah became king, which is an extreme load on the shoulders of a child. He ruled for 31 years. Josiah sent his servant to Hilkiah where he gave him the "Book of Laws". Josiah tore his robes when he saw this and gave the book back. When the Bible is a "lost" book is usually when I begin to fail God. The Bible should never be a lost book and should be relied on constantly. The Bible never fails us and gives us the perfect advice, though most of us don't even consult it at all. When I do something on my own my own way, it only allows evil to inhabit me even more and stray away from where I need to be.

Week 6
Mon. 2 Kings 11:1-21 The King Who Was A Kid
Who are your best examples in life?
Jehosheba hid Joash so he wouldn't be caught and killed by Atholia. He stayed in hiding for 6 years. The best examples in my life in mortal is my mother. My mom always knows best. I get all my advice from her and no matter what she will help me. I know I can always count on her. She is a good example because she is always loving and caring. I know most of the times it's hard to be kind to the ones that anger you, but she can smile and always think optimistic about them. In general, God is my best example in life. When needing a rolemodel, he is the perfect example. Always compassionate, praying for people, loving those who hate Him.

Bible 3rd Qt. Week 3
Mon. 2 Samuel 12: 1-12 David and Nathan
Which of your friends love you enough to correct you?
I am blessed with many good friends to correct me when I am in the wrong and vice versa. A good example of a friend that loves me enough to correct me is my beloved sister, Lacey. Although she is not currently in my home of residency, she still counsels me. I love her for all she's done to help me. My mother does this as well and I cannot thank her enough for it.
Tues. 2 Sam. 12: 13-25 David Confesses
How do you feel when you ask God’s forgiveness?
When I ask for God's forgiveness, I am hopeful and refreshed. Even though I always know he will forgive me, it doesn't seem like asking him is enough to repay him for what I've done. I feel hopeful for a new start and that I can always do better and not repeat my previous mistakes. I feel refreshed because I know that he has forgiven me and that I have a new clean slate to start back up on.
Wed. 2 Samuel 14: 1-33 Absalom Returns
How do you deal with family conflict?
I deal with a family conflict by talking it over with my family. No one knows better than them, besides God. God will always help me as well and I know he can solve and problem no matter what state, condition or situation, he will always prevail and help me in mine and my families time of need.
