  1. Monday:This passage talks about Jesus' first disciples. John was there again with 2 of his followers. He saw Jesus and he said "Look, the Lamb of God!" The 2 followers heard John say that, so they followed Jesus. When Jesus realized that they were following him, he asked them what were they looking for? They asked where he was staying. Jesus said come and see. Someone would know that I believe in Jesus by me not doing anything that would make someone believe that I am unchristian. Cursing, using the Lord's name in vain, or doing unChrist like things.

  2. Tuesday:In Galilee, there was a wedding. Jesus' mother was there. Jesus and his followers were also invited to the wedding. When all the wine was gone Mary came to Jesus and told him tyhat all the wine was gone. Jesus said why come to me? That his time hasn't come yet. Jesus turned water into wine. Jesus has surprised me so many times in my life. When I think something is going to go wrong, He lets it go the other way. He has also surprised me by letting me have this wonderful life and family.

  3. Wednesday:Nicodemus was one of the Pharisees and an important Jewish leader. One night Nicodemus came to Jesus and said, "Teacher,I know you are a teacher sent from God, because no one can do the miracles you do unless God is with him." Jesus said, "Unless you are born again, you cannot enter the kingdom of God." I first met Jesus when I was little, born into a Christian family. But at Healing Place Church is where I really met Jesus. I felt a powerful force move through me.

  4. Thursday:A tax collecter came to Peter, one of Jesus's disciples, and asked if Jesus paid the temple tax, Peter told him that He did. Jesus told Peter to go and catch a fish and that fish will have a 4-drachma coin and that will be both of their taxes. Someone came to Jesus and asked Him who was the greatest kindom in heaven, and Jesus told him that unless they start acting like little children then they will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Also, that whoever takes the lowly position of the child then he will enter the kingdom of heaven. It does surprise me in a way because when we think of little kids we think of immature, and not fully understanding, and basically childish. But, it says that if we think like children and not overthink things then we can enter the kingdom of heaven.

  5. Friday:A man came to Jesus and fell to his knees, and asked him what must he do to earn eternal life. Jesus told him that he has to keep all of the commandments and honor them. The man told Jesus that he had kept all of the commandments ever since he was a boy. Then Jesus told the man to sell everything he had and follow Him, the man had great wealth so he turned away. Jesus was upset because he knew it was a lot harder for richer people to enter the kingdom of heaven, He said that it is easier for a camel to enter the eye of a needle then for a rich man to go into the kingdom of heaven. I'm not sure what the hardest thing would be for me to give up. If Jesus asked me to get rid of my possessions then of course I would be a little hesitant, but then I'd get rid of them. What is in heaven is much better than anything on earth.
