  1. Monday:During a banquet, mysterious fingers appeared and wrote a strange message. The king was frightened by it. He asked all of his wisemen what it said. None of them new. When he asked Daniel, God told him what it meant, but did not except the gifts. It meant that God was going to judge the people. God's reasons for passing judgment on the society in which I live would be most likely for sin. If not for sin it would be like the Flood and renew a start again.

  2. Tuesday:Daniel prayed to God everyday despite the king's new laws. The authority found out and Daniel was sent for. The king authorized Daniel to be thrown into a den of lions for disobeying his law. Daniel continued to pray even while in the den and God heard his prayer and he answered it. I pray regularly when I go to bed for a good night's sleep, peace among those who need it, and thanking Him for letting me live another day.

  3. Wednesday:.This verse is about Jonah's feeling from the Lord. The word came to Jonah saying that he needs to go to the great city of Nineveh to preach against wickedness. But he ignored this call and fled from the Lord. After paying the fare he left the opposite way, away from Nineveh, on a boat. He fell asleep on the boat and the captain woke him up in the midst of a horrible storm sent down from God to punish Jonah. I usually avoid doing what God intends me to do more than not. What God wants me to do is the right thing but I am so captivated by the materialism of this world that I tend to refuse or ignore His commands. God does not request, He demands.

  4. Thursday:Jonah went to Nineveh after God's punishment for his disobedience and told the Ninevites that Nineveh was going to be overthrown. The Ninevites then put on sackcloth to represent their agreement to listening to Jonah. The king made a decree saying that no animal or man was allowed to eat or drink but call urgently unto God so that they would not be overthrown. The Lord saw how they had turned from their wicked ways and did not bring the destruction on Ninevah that he had planned to. I complain to God about a lot of things. The thing I complain to God most about is probably asking him "why?". I know I'm not supposed to question God but sometimes it gets the best of me. I am not justifying my complaints because I know God has more things to worry about than my petty words.

  5. Friday:God was the word and how everything was made by him. God is the light that shines through the darkness. It also talked about how Jesus came to this world and was rejected by man but still gave his life for us by dying on the cross. I have indeed accepted God as my Lord and Savior. I will never deny Him and will always know and love Him. As He always helps me, I will help Him
