Monday:In this passage, God knows that we are no where near His perfection. He knows that we are like flowers that flourish but when the wind blows over it and we are gone. He is an everlasting God and will forgive us. He will have compassion on his children. We should praise His name in every single thing we do. It also says to not forget all His benefits, He forgives our sins. The verse that gives the most vivid image to me is, "As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust.
ReplyDeleteTuesday:In the beginning it is saying that there is nowhere for you to escape and hide, God is always going to be with you, convicting you, and talking to you. There is no hiding away your sin, God is an all knowing God, he will always know everything you do, did, and will do. It also says that how does God not have hatred for those who hate him? He has compassion for the unChristlike . He is always with them. When I read this psalm I feel fearful, but not in a scary way. I know that I cannot just shrug off or bury my sins, I have to uncover and dust them off and present them to God with a sorry heart, hoping that He will forgive just another one of my many sins.
ReplyDeleteWednesday:God is mighty with justice. He is the most just King. He has a great kingdom, and when you trip or fall, He will pick you back up again, dust off your shoulders and set you back on the right path. He will reassure you that everything is alright, have faith and He will deliver. He is trustworthy in all that He says and He is the only person who will never let you down He is always watching, praying, and guiding you to see right from wrong. The quality I need from God is wisdom. I am still a child, yet to be matured to a woman of God as He has planned me to be. I am on the stepladder to success in His eyes, but all I need is more wisdom. I need to know how to make the right decision, how to word His Word to tell other people about him. I want to lead people to salvation but I can never gather the correct words to win them.
ReplyDeleteThursday:Listening to people. Keeping the righteous words in your head. It says that the path of righteousness is like the morning sun, warm and bright. The path of unrighteousness is deep, dark, and wicked. It says to not let any perversity come out of your mouth. Finding wisdom means you know right from wrong, you don't question God and don't doubt Him. Finding wisdom is extremely important to me (as seen in Wednesday blog). I want to be the leader. I want to step up and take control and be the one everyone wants to be, I'm not saying I want to be a preacher or a pastor, but a Woman of God. I don't want to be the self-righteous person no one cares to listen to because I proclaimed myself a chosen one of God. I want to be the one everyone likes to talk to about God and their problems and I want to know the answers to them.
ReplyDeleteFriday:This teacher was very wise. He had said that every thing was meaningless. When desire is lost, when the moon and the stars are gone, when the keepers of the house tremble, when the almond tree blossoms then people go to their eternal home. Mourners will go about the street, they did not choose God. The words of the wise are like embedded nails. You can go outside, as soon as your foot hits the ground you are reminded how beautiful are God is and how he made everything beautiful. I can remember my Creator today as I do everyday. Every morning I am reminded of my Creator, how I would not be here at that very second if He had not chosen me to be. I am here for a reason and I plan to find out what that reason is. I look at the sky and am reminded of Him. I look at the wonderful animals and am reminded of Him. I look at my beautiful family and am reminded of how gracious He has been to me. I am truly blessed and I know it, though sometimes in my faults, I forget how blessed I am and take everything for granted.
